Stop taking everything Obama says at face value and do a little research yourself. Most of the problem can be traced directly to the democratic side of the aisle. It was their idea to all but force financial institutions to make loans to people who never should have gotten a mortgage. This was done so that they could tout how they made mortgages "affordable" for all. Government caused most of the problem...now they expect us to believe that they are the answer. Typical.
